Meeting on 3rd November at 3pm

Hi all

Just a reminder we are haing a meeting on Monday at 3pm. I will try to book us a room.

Here is a brief agenda for the meeting:

1.Recap of meeting on Wednesday 29th October (5mins)
2.Review of Research Carried out: (40mins – 5 mins for each section)
1.Phil: Public health and environmental issues as pertaining to storage and disposal. Including acceptable doses and risk assesments.
2.Mike and Tom: Constructing a model of future energy requirements and how much waste this will create at 25% nuclear. Pretty graphs and numbers
3.James: Investigating American efforts at disposal. Cost projections, time scale etc... Similarities and differences to our problem.
4.Heather: As above for Europe, concentrating on France and Sweden
5.Greg: Cost breakdowns for proposed sites. Where does that 10bn figure come from etc. Budget constraints.
6.Mark: Potential UK sites. Need to know what required and if there's anywhere suitable. rock type, population etc...
7.Debbie: Reprocessing foreign waste for profit and sending our waste abroad. Cost benefits.
8.Graham: Legal requirements. UK, European and UN. IS there anything we absolutely cannot propose?
3.Discussion of group roles and next tasks to be completed (10 mins)
4.Any other buisness (5 mins)

We also need to allocate 1-2 more individuals onto writing.
